Sympraxis Consulting: Fall Newsletter ๐Ÿ‚

Sympraxis Welcomes
Mark Kashman

Mark is a respected Microsoft 365 Consultant with two decades of experience and in-depth knowledge as a Microsoft insider. He has a strong record of leading major product launches and is recognized as an engaging spokesperson. Mark combines creativity with effective teamwork to deliver compelling narratives and achieve strategic results. One caution: Mark believes the best intranet information architecture includes a robust taxonomy of humor โ€” be forewarned of a pun term here and there with sole expectations of well-baked eye rolls. No doubt, Mark is always focused on SharePoint'ing you in the right direction.
โ€‹
To say we're thrilled to have Mark join the Sympraxis team would be a huge understatement. Not only does he add his expertise and wit to the team he also adds some much-needed west coast U.S. time zone coverage! ๐Ÿ˜
โ€‹
Welcome Mark!

Microsoft 365 Learning Pathways Goes Fully Community-Supported

Sympraxis has proudly supported Microsoft 365 Learning Pathways since its inception. As a microlearning platform tailored for Microsoft 365, it empowers organizations to deliver both Microsoft-curated training and custom learning experiences.

Over the years, the Microsoft 365 community has collaborated closely with Microsoft to shape and evolve this resource. Now, weโ€™re thrilled to announce a major milestone: starting December 1, 2025, Learning Pathways will become a fully community-supported initiative.

What does this mean for you? Community members will be able to request new content directly, enabling faster responses to evolving learning needs. Whether you're new to Learning Pathways or already using it, we encourage you to explore its capabilitiesโ€”and share your ideas for future content.

What's new at Sympraxis Unlicensed OneDrives ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Recently, Iโ€™ve focused a decent chunk of my time on understanding the implications of the changes Microsoft is making for unlicensed OneDrives. You can read about the changes in this Microsoft Learn article: Manage unlicensed OneDrive user accounts. I wonโ€™t go into all the nitty gritty details here, but at a high level, the free ride we have had with unlicensed OneDrives is ending. If you want to preserve OneDrives after their owners have left...
